Connect NEB & Co-create NEB
Open Call 2027
Funding local ideas. Transforming neighbourhoods.
The EIT Community New European Bauhaus invites organisations from across Europe to submit proposals to the Connect NEB & Co-create NEB 2027 Open Call, supporting local ideas and neighbourhood transformation inspired by the New European Bauhaus.
The call offers two complementary funding opportunities for organisations creating more sustainable, inclusive and beautiful places across Europe.
Whether applicants are testing new community-led approaches or delivering public space transformation in partnership with public authorities, Connect NEB and Co-create NEB support local actors in bringing the New European Bauhaus to life.
About the New European Bauhaus and this call
The New European Bauhaus is an EU initiative that connects the European Green Deal with everyday life, supporting the creation of places that are sustainable, inclusive and beautiful.
The EIT Community New European Bauhaus led by EIT Urban Mobility in collaboration with EIT Food and Climate KIC supports local innovation, citizen engagement, entrepreneurship and place-based transformation across Europe.
Through this open call, the EIT Community NEB aims to support two complementary types of local impact:
Connect NEB supports community-led initiatives to test new ideas, activate local communities, and experiment with participatory approaches, living labs and new forms of governance inspired by the New European Bauhaus.
Co-create NEB supports partnerships between communities, municipalities and other local actors to deliver visible, place-based transformation in public spaces.
Together, the two calls help bring the New European Bauhaus to life by supporting local actors to move from ideas and participation to implementation and long-term impact.
*Previous knowledge of the New European Bauhaus is not required. Throughout the programme, selected projects will receive support to better understand and integrate NEB values and approaches into their work.
